23-Hour Crisis Stabilization
The 23-hour crisis stabilization service provides assessment and stabilization interventions to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in a safe, stimuli-reduced environment for up to 23 hours while determining the best resources available for the individual to prevent unnecessary hospitalization. Individuals aged 12 and older who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and have emergent needs related to mental health and/or substance use can be assessed for 23-hour crisis stabilization. At a minimum, the 23-hour crisis stabilization service will provide an assessment, psychiatric evaluation, nursing assessment, treatment planning and care coordination based on the specific needs of the individual. Referrals are accepted and processed 24/7. Appointments are not required, and walk-ins are accepted.
